Susan Rossell is Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychiatry and an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow at Swinburne University, Melbourne. Her research has focused on understanding the cognitive and neurobiological mechanisms involved in psychosis and body-image related disorders, aiming to develop new interventions for the debilitating cognitive symptoms. She has published over 260 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. She sits on the executive board of Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS); the NIMH International Body Dysmorphic Disorder Scientific Advisory Group and the steering committee of International Consortium of Hallucination Research (ICHR). She is section editor for European Journal of Neuroscience, Schizophrenia Research: Cognition and European Psychiatry.
