Melissa Green

Melissa Green (PhD) is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and an affiliated scientist at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA). Her research combines epidemiology with neuroscience methodologies to study the developmental pathway from early life stress to mental disorders across the life course. Her expertise spans multiple disciplines including molecular genetics, neuroscience, psychology, social science, and epidemiology. She is the Scientific Director of the NSW Child Development Study, which is building infrastructure to support multidisciplinary longitudinal research at the forefront of international efforts in life-course mental health epidemiology.
